Nudgar

Terms of Service

Draft — last updated 13 September 2026.

This is a draft, not a finished legal document. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and should not be treated as final legal protection for Nudgar or its users. Get it reviewed and finalised by a qualified solicitor before relying on it commercially.

1. What Nudgar is

Nudgar is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It helps you track certifications, licences, insurance, warranties, and other deadlines relevant to your business or personal life. Nudgar does not provide legal or regulatory advice. The information Nudgar surfaces — including pre-loaded checklists, cadences, and consequences — is a starting point based on publicly available sources and is not guaranteed to be complete, current, or correct for your specific circumstances. You remain solely responsible for identifying, understanding, and complying with your own legal and regulatory obligations. Always verify against the official source linked on each item.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Plans and billing

Nudgar offers a Free tier and a paid Pro tier — see our pricing page for current pricing and features. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until it ends.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant Nudgar a licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you — including sending it to third-party AI providers to extract dates from uploaded documents (see our Privacy Policy). Don't upload content you don't have the right to share.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Nudgar to store or process unlawful content, attempt to disrupt the service, or access accounts that aren't yours.

6. Disclaimers and liability

Nudgar is provided "as is." We don't guarantee reminders will always be delivered, that extracted dates will always be accurate, or that the pre-loaded checklists cover every obligation applicable to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nudgar is not liable for any loss arising from a missed deadline, an inaccurate reminder, or reliance on information provided through the service. This includes indirect or consequential losses, such as fines, penalties, lapsed cover, or lost profits.

If, despite the above, Nudgar is found liable to you for any reason, that liability is capped at the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) £100. This cap doesn't apply to liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

7. Termination

You can stop using Nudgar and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
